Scope of Work (Executed)

•Dismantling of damaged crane boom and cutting for transportation to workshop

•Technical assessment and preparation of execution plan

•Fabrication of new boom sections, including cutting and bending of steel plates

•Welding and assembly of all fabricated steel components

•Transportation of fabricated boom to port in five sections due to overall length

•On-quay assembly and welding of boom sections

•NDT inspections (weld testing) and dimensional control

•Surface preparation and painting in accordance with client’s coating procedure

•Final installation of boom on crane

•Installation of new wire ropes

•Load testing executed up to 45 tons

Execution Details

•Fabrication works carried out at workshop facilities

•Final assembly and welding executed at berth (quayside)

•NDT testing performed prior to final acceptance

•Client-compliant procedures applied throughout execution

Key Outcome

•New crane boom successfully fabricated and installed

•All welds approved following NDT inspection
